திருப்பழனத்தில் எழுந்தருளியிருக்கின்ற முக்கட் பரமேட்டியைத் தொழுது அங்கிருந்து பிள்ளையார் ஐயாறு சென்று அடைந்தார் ஐயாற்று அடியவர்கள் அனைவரும் சிவஞானத் தொள்ளமுது உண்டா திருஞான சமந்தப் பிள்ளையார் எழுந்தருளினார் என்று ஊரை அலங்கரித்தனர் மனக் களிப்போடு எதிர் கொண்டு அழைத்தனர் நந்தி அருள் பெற்ற நன்னகராகிய ஐயாற்றை முதற்கண் வணங்கிப் புலன் ஐந்தும் நிலைகலங்குமிடத்து அஞ்சல் என்பவர் தம் ஐயாறு என்று சிறப்பிக்கும் இப்பதிகத்தைப் பாடி அருளினார் இதனைச் சேக்கிழார் பெருமான் புந்தி நிறை செந்தமிழின் சந்த இசை என வாயாரப் போற்றுவார்கள்.

1394 புலனைந்தும் பொறிகலங்கி நெறிமயங்கி

1401 அஞ்சாதே கயிலாய மலையெடுத்த

அஞ்சாமல் கயிலை மாலையை எடுத்த அரக்கன் தலைவனாகிய

அரக்கர்கோன் தலைகள்பத்தும்

இராவணனின் தலைகள் பத்தையும்

மஞ்சாடு தோள்நெரிய அடர்த்தவனுக்
Manjaadu thol neriya adarthavanukku

Eaithu vaar thaalaa thanrea
Those disciples will get without fail
