பண் – தக்கராகம்
This is River Cauvery northern side temple where Thirunayukku arasar has seen the thiru kaiylaaiyam special appearance in this place. Once sunther moorthy saint and the king named seeraman peruman tried to pray in this temple place but the River Cauvery in flooded form flowing and then suntherer sang a decade so that river Cauvery gave way to them to cross the river and then after prayed in thiruvaiaar they came back in that same way and up to that time it stands away
Once in the thiru ponthuruthi place sang a decade by Thiru nayukku arasar and got permission from thirunayukkuarasar and then separated from him and then crossed the River Cauvery and at first praised the thiru neithanm place lard Siva and then at last entered into the Thiruvaiyaru temple and then Sang the following decade
காவிரி வடகரைத்தலம் திருநாவுக்கரசர் கயிலை காட்சியைக் கண்டு தரிசித்த திருத்தலம் சுந்தரமூர்த்தி சுவாமிகளும் சேரமான் பெருமான் நாயனாரும் தரிசிக்க முற்படும் பொழுது இடையில் காவிரி வெள்ளம் பெருக்கெடுத்து ஓடியது. அப்போது இவர்கள் ஈசனைத் தரிசித்துத் திரும்பும் வரை காவிரி வெள்ளம் ஒதுங்கி நின்று வழிபட்டு நின்றது.
திருப் பூந்துருத்தியை வணங்கிப் பதிகம் பாடி அப்பர் சுவாமிகளிடம் விடைபெற்றுக் கொண்டு காவிரி ஆற்றைச் கடந்து திரு நெய்தானத்து நெய்யாடிய பெருமானைப் போற்றி திருவையாற்றை அடைந்த பிள்ளையர் “கலையார்” மதி என்னும் இப்பதிகத்தைப் பாடி அருளினார்.
