பண் – தக்கராகம்
It is Cauvery southern side temple which is situated under chola kingdom and it is called in the name of mathiyaachunam alias maruthavanam which is also called in the name of sanbakaarunyam and sathi puram. In this temple place the king named varaguna pandiyan got relief from the curse of bharamagasthi
In this temple place lardess yumadevi Vishnu Lakshmi saraswathi and veetham are prayed and conducted poojaas
Ganasambanther while going towards the temple at that time sand the following songs
சோழநாடு காவிரி தென்கரைத்தலம் மத்தியாச்சுனம் என்று வழங்கப் பெறும் மருதவனம் சண்பகாரண்யம் சத்திபுரம் என்ற பெயர்களும் உண்டு வரகுண பாண்டியனுக்குப் பிரமஹத்தி (சாபம்) நீங்கிய தலம்.
உமாதேவி விஷ்ணு, இலட்சுமி, சரஸ்வதி வேதம் முதலியவர்கள் பூசித்தது.
ஞானசம்பந்தர் திருக்கோயிலை நோக்கி செல்லும்போது பாடியது திருஞானசம்பந்தப் பிள்ளையார் திருநாகேச்சரத்து இனிதமரும் செங்கங்கைத் தணிகின்ற வணங்கி நாரதப் பெருமானின் பிணி தீர்க்கும் பெருங் கருணையைப் போற்றித் திருவிடை மருதுருக்கு வழிக் சொல்கின்றன “ஓடேகலன்” இத்திருப்பதிகத்தை அருளிச் செய்தார்.

338 ஓடேகலன் உண்பதும் ஊரிடு பிச்சை
